About Leonard Edloe, Th. M. Pharmd
A nationally recognized pharmacist who has the ability to communicate with patients and improve their outcome in a one on one situation or in large groups, who after serving so many and having so many turn their backs on him making further contributions to the health of the Greater Richmond Community, now devotes his life to full-time ministry. Dr. Edloe preached in his first sermon at the age of 17 in the Methodist Church. In 1993 he joined St. Paul Baptist church where he was licensed and ordained. He founded the Prison and Nursing Home Ministry and led the AIDS Ministry. In 1997 he became the Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Susan, VA and made additions to the church, purchased a new organ, established a low FM radio station and established new ministries. In August 2010 he was removed as pastor. In September 2010 two of the deacons of Antioch Baptist Church asked Dr. Edloe to come and preach at the Hampton Inn in Gloucester to 23 of the members of Antioch Baptist Church and New Hope Fellowship was born. In June 2013, New Hope Fellowship moved into its 7,200 worship and educational center on 10 acres in Hartfield, VA.
