Facility Maintenance Manager – Guiding the maintenance organization through the process of safely navigating the day-to-day activities involved with maintaining an older manufacturing facility. Leading the continuous improvement efforts by introducing a culture change to the team in the areas of safety, communication, equipment downtime and what roadblocks needed to be removed to make them successful.Lead maintenance team through the ongoing modernization process of the facility by addressing spare parting concerns. Established new 3rd party Vendor networks for the supply of parts, tooling and hardware.Found a dormant MMS system that was not being utilized and brought in training from the developer of that platform for the technicians, maintenance supervisor and maintenance coordinator. This will allow the entire scope of the MMS platform to manage a work order system, a PM work order system, spare part inventory management and planning/scheduling of manpower.Capex project development for the facility regarding electrical infrastructure, which is currently due to come out of the engineering phased shortly, water treatment project is ongoing currently, maintenance shop/s lighting projects, HVAC upgrade and development of HVAC maintenance agreement with local sourcing once installation is completed. Project development for the replacement of the current fire suppression and alarm system and a communications project to upgrade the facility to a radio based non repeater system.

Lead the maintenance team’s efforts to safely work through the different phases of this facility. Construction and commissioning, supporting the production team to bring product online, training on new equipment and running the facility to target numbers and supporting the Ops team.

Site Maintenance Supervisor – Responsible for planning, scheduling, directing and supervising daily activities of the Maintenance Department. Works with the Operations Manager and staff with process improvements and implementation. Provides scheduling for preventative maintenance tasks with adherence to published standards. Leads the department safety guidelines and engaging the safety initiatives to support a safe site. Assist with the development of Reliability Projects to reduce cost by increasing equipment life. Contractor and vendor management. Training of Technicians with Maintenance Management systems, reliability concepts and procedures.

Manage the daily work and safety of associates engaged in building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, power industrial equipment, security systems and automated product delivery system tasks.Over sight of 3rd party vendors, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire protection, Water Treatment, Pest control, Battery and charging systems. Planning and scheduling coordination with a fast paced Operations plan for the ongoing PMs, PDM process and Corrective work order completions.

Manage a team of maintenance technicians engaged in performing corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance procedures to material handling equipment, controls systems, and associated scanning equipment by establishing performance expectations and managing to those expectations.

Provide planning, scheduling and supervision of field technical services within Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi coal mining industries. Coordination of the PM, Predictive Maint., Inspection, product delivery, and maintenance shop repairs /rebuilds schedules across approximately 14 sites. Project development and management of new installations of lubrication systems on Drag Lines and large rolling stock within the mine sites. Seeking out new industrial and heavy commercial industry applications that could or already utilize heavy greases to lighter oil lubes to provide lubrication control systems. MSHA certified.

Recently achieved my ABR ( Accredited Buyer Representative) designation and the MRP (Military Relocation Professional) certification.

Had the privilege of leading a Rural VFD. Developing training programs and administering those training subjects and the testing of competency over material covered . Instituting Apparatus/Equipment Preventative Maintenance programs and insuring those programs are followed. Working with the Texas Forest Service to understand, write and submit grants for educational and equipment needs. Working within and for our community to heighten Fire safety awareness, home safety, brining the NFPA Fire Prevention education to our local schools. Working with and training with the industrial sights within our response district to familiarize our department with the site hazards, SOP's, site emergency action plan and personell at those facilities. Working with the LEPC for Henderson County, Hendrson Fire Marshal's office, the Henderson County Fire Chiefs Association and providing Mutual Aid assistance to our neighboring VFD's.

The Senior Team Lead Infrastructure position within BP's structure/framework was responsible for leading a safe, efficient and effective maintenance effort concentrating in small capital projects, non-cycle ending turnarounds and routine maintenance work. This position managed a proprietary work force of Supervisors, inspectors, planners, procurement specialist and onsite maintenance contractors through their company management structure

Facility offered all aspects of Fast Pitch Softball offense and defensive skills training. Hitting, slap and drag bunting, sac. bunting, pitching instruction, coaches clinics and strategy sessions. Coaching and developing players for over 26 years.January 2011 to date I have been back in the softball instruction mode here in Henderson and VanZandt counties.
