I'm running a program designed to motivate learners to:-Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.-Enhance coding and programming proficiency.-Encourage creativity and innovation.-Foster teamwork and collaboration.-Provide opportunities for national and international recognition.-Inspire students to pursue STEM-related careers.This is a transformative educational journey aligned with 3 key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).I strongly believe that just like their middle-class counterparts, children from informal settlements are equally as gifted and possess amazing potential, but unfortunately lack equalopportunities to discover and refine their hidden abilities. Through Watoto Coding Hub, i seek to awaken and implant dreams and aspirations, a move that might dramatically alter the course of their lives. These children living in abject poverty have limited access to such opportunities, resulting in undiscovered gifts and talents. The heartbeat of this initiative is to change this sad narrative. Through partnering with diversely skilled individuals and other organizations, i believe that we can make a significant impact in such communities.
