Additionally, has served as an adjunct instructor in business management, organizational development, adult education, human relations, psychology and higher education for over 24 years at the undergraduate and graduate level. Proven track record of increasing credit and continuing education enrollment and securing over $4 million in grants. Serves as Chair of the Education is Our Freedom Scholarship Program, Board Member of the Rural Schools Innovation Zone and Board Member of the South Texas Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Led my team to earn the prestigious Texas Governor's Higher Education Community Impact Award in 2020 for most innovative workforce program. A servant leader at heart, I encourage collaboration among internal and external constituents to identify opportunities and issues and work in unison to address them.
