POSITION SUMMARY: The VoIP Engineer�s position(s) primary focus will be implementing growth of new and existing systems as an expert on Voice over IP technology, primarily Cisco Call Managers systems. Provides expert technical assistance for VoIP growth of networks, System upgrades, and new equipment purchases. Secondary responsibility will be Wide Area Network O&M. Coordinates and works with the Government to provide implementation of new, existing, and future VoIP (to include Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP)) technology utilizing the current industry best practice implementation to include, but not limited to, Cisco Call Manager and Unified Communications systems.
