My daily work includes Financial Research (Equities), Derivatives pricing, Security valuation, Assets-Liabilities management (ALM), Consulting on strategy and risk management, Performance and Profitability analysis, Risks modelling (Credit risk and prepayment risk), Systems Quality control (QC).

World mathematical society (WMS) is a non profit organization which specializes in providing equitable mathematics benefits, lessons, joy and wealth to everyone on earth, regardless of any factor. We believe in numbers and we use them to empower people. WMS also aims to provide mathematical liberty to everyone and to raise many mathematician from Africa and across the World. We are also more into several social and community engagements.

I am regularly nominated, and elected to review manuscripts on topics involving Mathematical Modeling, Financial Mathematics, Machine and Deep Learning, and Statistical modelling.

I am a national representative of the IMMC international competitions in Zimbabwe, where I organize and participate as a team leader at the running IMMC competitions.

As an LMS member, I am involved in computational finance, statistics and mathematics research.

Developing complex mathematical models for decision making in risk management, investments and, pricing.

My duties included: Analyzing market data(stocks and derivatives), Financial Modelling, and implementing quantitative trading models.

I edited, reviewed and made decisions on the publication of various papers on statistical modelling, Econometrics and Financial Economics.

Editor in Chief of the special issue, "Wider Thoughts on the Application of Data Mining Tools and Predictive Modelling in Finance". The special issue welcomed papers on topics revolving around Data mining tools and Machine Learning approaches with applications to financial modelling and risk management.

I was the lead Guest Editor of the special Issue, "The concept of econopysics and phynance at a broader base", under the International Journal of Applied mathematics and Physics.The special issue welcomed papers involving application of statistical physics to finance and economic theory. The idea was to widen the literature involving the works of Louis Bachelier.

I was a research assistant in the Mathematics department. During my tenor, I worked with Dr Mashasha, Dr Chandiwana and Mrs Mashiri and published 5+ papers in peer reviewed International Journals.

As part of the Fidelity Actuarial team, I was exposed to all actuarial work ranging from pensions schemes, life insurance to general insurance business. My main duties included the following:Data Checks.Pension scheme valuation.IFRS9 modelling for expected credit losses.Developing insurance pricing models, such as the Insurance CAPM model, Variance-Gamma models, Jump diffusion models. This also included IBNR and UPR reserve computations.I was also part of the firm's regional expansion strategy team.

My main duties included: Data Checks, Asset valuation (pensions and life insurance products), reserve calculations, and writing clients’ reports.
