My name is Leonardo, and I am Mexican. Two years ago, I moved to Sweden o study for a master's degree, looking for new experiences and challenges. In this new episode of my life, I found an enriching, challenging and autonomous context that allowed me to explore new ideas, thrive in my development as an architect and deconstruct myself. Studying at Chalmers allowed me to understand and broaden my understanding of the architect's role in building a prosperous and sustainable future and the importance of anticipating future problems with imagination, commitment, and intelligence. The Master's Degree in Architecture and Urbanism was a process that allowed me to strengthen and learn new skills and develop critical thinking. Before I came to Sweden, I gathered five years of professional experience, during which I faced successes and failures. I learned and unlearned about architecture and how to be a team player. Always working on variable conditions where detail and accuracy were the principal aims. Therefore, I confidently say that I am a mature and motivated architect who knows how to work under pressure and meet deadlines. My professional experience has enabled me to grow as a proactive and motivated architect who can deal with stressful situations and still be a team player.
