During this experience, I had the chance to:• Carry out systematic search and data mining in public data repositories;• Work analyzing and choosing input and output attributes for a mathematical/statistical descriptive analysis;• Generate new matrix-structured databases, in order to make them available for studies by postgraduate students;• Perform data pre-processing, including cleaning, processing, validating and organizing data for collective use by researchers;• Implement and execute genetic mutation pattern recognition algorithms, such as SNP (Single nucleotide polymorphism);• Dissertation and produce a structured academic report, aiming at ABNT standards;• Present the work carried out at the Scientific and Technological Initiation Seminar (SICITE).Results:› The process of acquiring public health data went from taking a month to a week, through process automation with Python, improving everything from data mining, cleaning and validation;› We achieved an improvement of up to 75% in the entire database generation process;› Thanks to the reduction in acquisition time, the number of researchers to be served increased, as we were able to generate more data in less time.› Increase in the generation of new academic publications linked to public health databases;› Due to the support provided as an assistant researcher and aligned communication, in some cases we use Python as an alternative to R, offering greater flexibility and performance.
