Direct report to BU Engineering Manager, who reports to BU director: Managing and leading five disciplines trough their respective team leader. The whole group counts 80+ resources (70% staff, 30% external). Define department budget and forecasting budgetary requirements. Setting strategic long and short-term department goals and evaluating outcomes. Recruiting, interviewing, and orienting new staff members. Monitoring and evaluating staff performance. Motivating and inspiring staff and facilitating personal growth. Ensuring, fostering and maintain the highest levels of productivity and quality. Conducting training and seminars for continued skills improvement. Define, supervise, and validate work packages to be outsourced. Ensuring adherence to clients and industry standards and regulations. Worldwide projects staffing, ensuring most efficiency in term of resources allocation and skills, workload, and client expectation. Review and validate budgets, project execution scheme and schedule, technical documents within the area of competences for tenders. Participate and contribute to technical and commercial tenders close out.

Direct report to the Project Director: Project value over 3bil. dollars Managing and supervising, design and installation engineering, external/internal interfaces, technologies, and procurement activities, verifying the adequacy and consistency of design solutions, methods, construction, and procurement strategy, with a view to achieving overall project optimization, ensuring that time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental project objectives were met. Supervise project planning and scheduling, including engineering, external interfaces, and procurement execution plan development. Defining project organisation charts, staffing the roles with head of departments. Defining the architecture of detail engineering outsourcing, coordinate execution of multidisciplinary engineering activities, and manage activities assigned to engineering centres and/or other engineering companies, including management of associated contracts. Managing the certifying authority subcontractor ensuring issuance of the proper certificate of compliance as per contract requirements. Direct link with Client, regarding process and specialist engineering problems and issues related to relevant technologies. Ensuring technological and operational requirements in all project phases up to hand over to Client, were correctly applied in line with project cost and time schedule objectives as well as construction and fabrication needs, taking appropriate actions to avoid, absorb or minimize deviations. Ensuring that the critical technological aspects of the supplies was adequately considered during the definition of Vendor lists and subsequently in the technical bid evaluation phase. Participating to risk management and other inter-functional reviews, including support to HSE Manager in performance of HAZID and follow-up / close-out of any identified comments or risks. Defining and managing jointly with contract management, variations requests and change orders.

Direct reporting to the Project Manager E&P: Managing and coordinating the activities of installation engineering team (multidiscipline). Providing technical and administrative guidance to the project staff to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved. Responsible for the project installation engineering budget. Cooperating within the project teams to ensure that all design requirements were met, all changes noted, and if eventual interdisciplinary checks were carried out between the disciplines. Promoting any steps, required to prevent or minimize delays of engineering activities. Supporting the Procurement Manager in the preparation of subcontract documents for all subcontracted activity related to Installation Engineering and Operations. Verifying that all subcontractors’ installation procedures were according to contractual requirements and applicable. Contributing to the preparation of project schedule. Ensuring the timely availability of pertinent technical documents, as per established document release schedule. Assisting in the preparation of the project specific procedures/manuals issued for the installation works.

Direct reporting to the Installation Engineering Manager: Leading of a project discipline team.  Responsible for development of the relevant installation engineering and preparation of relevant project documentation. Coordinating with other project disciplines. Reviewing of vendors documentations. Providing technical support for the interface with other main contractors. Defining product functional specification, design requirement and installation aids. Providing technical support during fabrication follow-up During execution phase deployed on site to assist and supervise the operations Experience as System Integration Tests Coordinator, deployed for approx. one year and half at the fabrication site in Egypt as responsible for testing execution. From September 2009 to May 2011 deployed as deputy Installation Engineering Manager.

Direct report to Operation Manager: Execute the project activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Review and update operative schedule based on project changes and needs to meet client request and contractual milestones. Define product functional specification, design requirement and installation aids. Define the materials and services to be purchased. Approve documents necessary for the purchase and/or construction of products to be supplied to the Client. Vendors follow up, review and approval of vendors documentation, purchase request, post order, and material delivery. Responsible to verify equipment and materials. Ensure and challenge all the engineering verifications and calculations necessary for the methodology to be implemented. Ensure that the operation people on board of the vessel receive all useful data in form of reports, manuals, drawings. Follow up activities on site during offshore campaign ensuring procedures are fully understood and followed by the operation people, liaising with Client representative and Marine Warranty Surveyor.

Methods Engineer, member of different teams involved into tenders activities reporting to the Proposal Engineering Lead. Review of Client documentation (scope of work, specification, ITT package). Propose the most appropriate and cost-effective methodology to comply with Client requirements. Develop documentation for technical proposal package. Prepare qualification and clarification package. Define project execution plan, engineering organisation charts, and relevant man-hours budget. Participate to clarification meetings with clients. Offshore experiences as field engineer, providing technical support to Vessel Superintendent and Assistant Supt., including technical relationship with Client.
