Responsible to shipyard ISO 9001 certification according to ABS-American Bureau of shipping classification society rules.•Ensure that Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Vendors have the required competent resources, implant acceptable practices and delivery of a product in compliance to company corporate and project quality requirements. Verify that Contractor maintains up-to-date project records on site. Ensure that Project Quality Plans are prepared, implemented and adhered to throughout the Project Life Cycle.•Review and ensure that all work undertaken by Contractor/ Sub-Contractors/ Vendors/ Manufacturers/ Service providers is in accordance with project specifications, client specifications, company specifications, International codes and standards, and Contract QA/QC requirements.•Ensure that the quality requirements of the fabrication, construction and installation activities, are implemented in accordance with company’s approved project documents; Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.•Create and approve methodology procedure measurement bulletin for blocks and hulls with Petrobras( Client) for disciplines (mechanical, painting, steel structures, electrical, instrumentation and piping).•Visited, evaluated and qualify supplier’s materials and services.
