Full stack Developer: Collaborated on several of the agency's proprietor Wordpress plugins and themes. Regularly contributed Front & Back end fixes, upgrades and enhancements for more than 25 different Disney websites. This gave me the opportunity to work and interact with several teams across the company as I learned Disney's great work culture.Some of the languages I coded on a daily basis included: HTML5, JS: React and J-Query , CSS, SQL/DBs and lots and lots of PHP-7. All these technologies were beautifully integrated in a modern "Dev Flow" that built assets and compiled code amongst other very cool things. Furthermore, everyday I got to interact with industry leading technologies and services such as AWS, Docker and Gitlab. Other code related activities included developing thorough wp-content migration scripts using WP-CLI and bash shell.As a Sr. Quality Assurance: Leading the QA department of the agency was one of the greatest responsibilities I have had in my career. My main job was to supervise Quality and Security in order to prevent bugs and flaws to pass to production environments. This applied for about 25 Code-Active Disney websites. As an essential part of the Dev-Ops process daily QA activities included manual and automated testing before each deploy to Production. On a deeper level QA activities also included Broken link scans, Customer support, Code Reviews and maintaining thorough Documentation standards for ~25 projects.Some QA magic I got to apply had to do with Browser and Device testing, API testing, External Service Testing, Gherkins / BDD, User Experience testing, Selenium-Codeception and last but not least standardized QA-Reporting and QA-communications which were key for being successful in this role.Being both a Developer and QA was the best. The roles are totally complementary and gave me a broader than normal insight on Dev-Ops, Development flow and Coding standards.
