Main Responsibilities- Identified and executed Should Cost Analysis for multiple commodities: accessories, electrical components, heavy fabrications, skids, etc. - Participated on sourcing negotiations based on cost analysis, product cost breakdown, key cost contributors and quote comparisons.- Lead and coordinate the Best Cost Country initiative. - Support R&D on the determination of new product cost and minimum viable product.Main Accomplishments:- Identified and developed new suppliers in Mexico, opening the procurement in the country for GE Power, $3M USD in deflation projects and $4M USD annual projection.- Generated cost out projects for multiple commodities for $5M USD.

Main Responsibilities- Front-line Engineer for emergent issues (supplier deviations, site installation, commissioning, and manufacturing non-conformance). - Track the GT accessories global cost-of-quality, identify trends, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrences. - Continuous improvement on safety, performance, maintainability, and cost. - Conducted root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions. Main Accomplishments:- Direct customer support at CFE Manzanillo Power Plant & InterGen San Luis de La Paz (non-conformance, warranty claims, power plant trips and forced outages) - Patent US20170002739– Air system for GT.

Main Responsibilities- Define the product design & compliance requirements on a project-to-project basis for Gas Turbine F and E class Accessories. - Hardware support for applications and requisitions.- Emergent issues resolution (supplier deviations, manufacturing, field).- Drive product cost out on the owned hardware.Main Accomplishments:- Lead cost out projects for $1.5M USD in 3 years on different systems (oil, hydraulics, water), lead the $1M USD year target for the team. - Focal engineer for LATAM compliance assessments (NOM, CFE, PEMEX, INMETRO, etc.), cero non-conformities for certification issues.

Main Responsibilities- Supported the Regional Compliance Plans for GE Energy Technologies including Thermal, Aero, Jenbacher, Wind. - Research and identification of technical regulations and standards for LATAM / North America / Eastern Europe & Asia (Grid Codes, Building Codes, Pressure Vessels Regulations, Electric codes, etc.).Main Accomplishments- Lead and develop a compliance plan for Wind Turbines tenders, used in the first project sold by GE in Mexico (Santa Catarina).
