I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so I started working very early and founded a web design company when I was 15 years old. Later I had to give up this project in order to focus on the completition of my graduation, but the experience gave me knowledge to take future entrepreneurial actions during my career.As a veterinarian graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), I started my career in the field of livestock consulting.The activities of closely monitoring the management of processes on the farm, adjusting goals and observing changes in the business through efficient management have always motivated me. I've always believed that technical knowledge aligned with management makes a huge difference in business.When I arrived at Prodap, I participated in the construction of new management processes and worked with the technology team to map customer demands and build the most appropriate solutions, an experience that brought me closer to the customers' needs.The fact that I always had affinity with technology was responsible for other interesting experiences at Prodap. It helped me to develop a business vision, strategic planning and focusing on results.Since 2012, shortly after becoming a Harvard Alumni, I've become CEO of Prodap. This was when we decided to take a step towards the digital transformation that made the company walk towards a new era.For a while, I shared my work at Prodap with an other entrepreneurial project that brought a lot of learning: structuring a private equity manager, focused on agribusiness, in a company with big names of the financial market, a true story of entrepreneurship.In addition to offering solutions to customers through nutrition, consulting and technology, we continue to play a leading role in livestock farming with innovative proposals such as developing an artificial intelligence layer and creating a sustainability seal to recognize sustainable production.In 2022, Prodap became DSM-Firmenich, looking forward to bring our business model globally.I believe that sharing knowledge is a way to transform people. So I also work as an associate professor at Fundação Dom Cabral with a focus on Agribusiness Management, another way I found to share my knowledge and experiences with those who also want to transform agribusiness.My leadership purpose is to develop the people around me, in the personal, professional and financial dimensions, and I continue to seek to transform livestock and to make production more profitable and sustainable through the field technology.
