In my time as a BSBA of Finance candidate, I discovered my great interest in quantitative finance thanks to the mentoring and advising of my professors in derivatives, accounting, machine learning, and data structures. I aspire to get a Master's in Applied Mathematics or Data Science and another in Financial Engineering in the hopes of accessing research opportunities. I am inspired by the innovation in solutions for problems like cancer and rare disease research with financial instruments.In my time at Student Employment, I discovered I thrive in self-led, independent, task-oriented work assignments, applied my skills in data preparation and analysis via Python programming and Excel macros for automation. As VP of Finance at USF's student government, I am expected to process funding requests from a $1 million budget, mentor and supervise executive pairings team, and facilitate meetings on a weekly basis.
