The Master thesis project focused on applying deep learning techniques using PyTorch and the 3D UNet architecture to effectively implement these techniques for semantic/instance segmentation in fluorescent microscopy imaging, with the ultimate objective of obtaining precise segmentation results for both 3D and 2D images.

Research on reinforcement learning applied to the” daVinci” surgical system.The project aimed at creating a virtual model of the robot’s arm, and to train It by the reinforcement learning paradigm.
