During the 3 years I had at the Fraunhofer ILT, Group of Process Control, I worked with various laser applications and projected quality monitoring systems for the investigation and improvement of laser based processes, validating methods and enhancing process efficiency.- Projected and designed an optical system for the investigation and quality monitoring of the powder gas flow for the Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) process. - Allowed the development and validation of a evaluation method as well as the assembling of a system for cladding powder feed nozzle characterization. This new characterization method granted better revenue from nozzles sales, improved nozzle manufacturing and provided efficiency on the LMD process.- Designed and presented results for group and project meetings with stakeholders.
