About Leonardo Facundo

Undergraduate geology student at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) with an interest in 3D seismic characterization of turbidite and carbonate reservoirs, petrophysics, source rock geochemistry, sedimentary basin and salt tectonics, marine canyons and Brazilian Equatorial Margin. President of the UFC Student Chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) from 2022 to 2024. I was the captain of the 2024 Imperial Barrel Award (IBA) UFC team.I am founder and president of the UFC SPWLA Student Chapter, the second student chapter of Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts in Brazil.Member of the Marine Geology and Geophysics Laboratory and Applied to Energy (LGMA) since 2020. CNPq ITI-A scholarship holder for the project "3D characterization of deepwater reservoirs in the Brazilian Equatorial Margin using machine learning techniques" since February 2023.Member of the Innovation and Research Group in Energy and Mineral Resources (GIPEM) since 2023. Member of the Laboratory of Seismic Interpretation (LIS) since 2023.
