Coordination of the Critical Facilities area (CFM) at Vertiv, responsible for maintenance contracts in data centers, cable landing stations (CLS), and telecommunications stations throughout Brazil. My clients included Telxius, Telebras, Vtal (formerly Globenet), and Cirion (formerly CenturyLink). My scope covered various systems:- Power (substations, AC and DC power, UPS, STS, power sources, inverters, and batteries)- HVAC / Precision Air Conditioning (chilled water, chillers, fan coils, and direct expansion)- Generators and Diesel (fuel supply and storage)- Access control, security and CCTV- Fire detection, alarm, and firefighting- Building infrastructureIn 2023, I was responsible for overseeing 104 sites across 10 states in Brazil, leading a team of 31 professionals, including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and assistants. My responsibilities included managing the entire maintenance process: planning, scheduling, team coordination, surveys, reporting, client communication, and contract execution.I also served as an interim coordinator for the North/Northeast region, leading maintenance teams and contracts with government agencies (Ministério Público, Secretaria de Educação) and large industries in sectors such as energy (ONS, JIRAU), finance (Banco Central), petrochemicals (Alpek Poliéster, Indorama), pharmaceuticals (Laboratórios Aché, Farmace), and telecommunications companies (Claro, Telefônica).Finally, I acted as an interim operations supervisor at the Elea/Vtal BSB1 data center, overseeing the shared assets in the ETCO building complex. This included managing the air conditioning system with 4 chillers, 7 cooling towers, and a Chilled Water Plant with 12 pumps capable of handling chilled and condensed water up to 75 HP, as well as the UPS and BMS systems.

Project Manager (PM) for the retrofit project of the UPS system at Data Center ICI-II, located in Banco do Brasil’s Headquarters IV in Brasília, Brazil, replacing the existing Schneider Symmetra MW systems with 8 Vertiv 800kVA UPS units, involving auxiliary systems, including:- Low-voltage panels- Shielded busways- Communication with the substation (PCS)- Battery systems- Automation via ABB 800xA with Modbus- Fire detection, alarm, and suppression using FM-200- Closed-circuit television (CFTV)- Civil adaptations for hot/cold aisle containmentMy responsibilities encompassed end-to-end project management, including client communication, coordination with stakeholders, vendor contracts, schedule development, risk analysis, scope definition, and quality standards. I oversaw the execution of the project with both Vertiv teams and subcontractors, including commissioning tests with a 2MVA load.During this period, I also coordinated contracts for the implementation of a prefabricated data center in partnership with Modular for the Ministry of Public Prosecution of Rondônia (MP-RO) in Porto Velho, Brazil. Additionally, I oversaw the installation of dozens of small-scale UPS units (5 to 20kVA) for the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) across all Northeastern states in Brazil.

Technical Manager for electrical works in all states of the Midwest and North of Brazil. Management (internal and in the field) of critical infrastructure and telecommunications projects, covering the entire value chain of the project, from design, planning, execution and acceptance, including:- Retrofit of the -48Vdc power system in 80 Eletronorte stations;- Implementation of a 1,500 kVA electrical center at the Senate/DF;- Resident engineer for the temporary construction of the Geo-stationary Defense and Strategic Communications Satellite Station (SGDC - COPE-P) by Telebras, in Brasília/DF;- Adaptation of electrical systems in the data centers ETCO and BSA_SU for Claro, Cyber, and ETCE for Oi, in Brasília/DF;- Execution of 35 underground shelter-type sites in Brasília/DF and Goiânia/GO;- Satellite infrastructure execution at CCOMGEX - 1st BGE, in Brasília/DF;- Implementation and adaptation of infrastructure in hundreds of stations, including civil works, metal structures, vertical structure foundations, AC and DC electrical installations; substations; backup generators; and telecommunications system installations in fiber optic (FO), microwave (MW), and radio frequency (RF) for greenfield, rooftop, and indoor sites.Key point of contact in negotiations with large companies such as Claro, Vivo, TIM, Oi, CenturyLink, Highline, Phoenix Tower, American Tower (ATC), Telxius, Desarrollos Terrestres (DT), VI COMAR, Suntech/Verint, and Thales Alenia Space in various regions of Brazil.

Intern at the Technical-Operational Area. I worked on the monitoring of suppliers for the construction of telecommunications stations of the fiber optics backbone; relationship with energy concessionaires and companies from the Eletrobras/Furnas and Petrobras system; review of civil, electrical, and fiber optic projects; mapping of the stations and fibers of the backbone and backhaul, focusing on the projects for the Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
