During my time as an intern at Zions Bancorporation, the CEO of Zions Bank taught me something that has stuck with me. The career you choose should be a function of three things: what you're good at, what you like doing, and what skills the market demands. For me, this cross-section leads me toward a career in operations and supply chain. At the University of Utah, I discovered my interest in operations and supply chain by taking an operations management course. This class made me remember that I have analytical skills and that I enjoy performing mathematical operations. In addition, I realized that I enjoy analyzing a company's operations and finding places for improvement. Therefore, I have chosen to pursue a bachelor's degree in operations and supply chain because of my abilities, the things I am interested in, and because I will obtain skills that are in demand.
