Born on July 21, 1986. My parents named me Leonardo but everyone calls me Leo. I see myself as a good singer with a bad voice and a great dancer with a bad knee.I've always enjoyed observing, arguing, inventing, drawing, reading and writing. I remember as a kid to frequently disassemble and assemble stuff in order to understand how they were made and how they worked. Getting them to function again in perfect condition happened not so often. With my father's first video-camera I used to record one second scenes — through the very skilled 'pause/unpause' technique — and made short stop-motion movies with my toys. Don't remember to give much thought about the plot, I would leave the story unravel as the shooting went along (improvisation was always one of my best skills). My life experiences made me passionate about all kinds of art, sports, design, advertising, photography, books, magazines, day and night outs, traveling, surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. I do consider myself a fast thinker, am known to be very stubborn but also polite, to talk a lot and to use my sense of humor sometimes as a weapon and sometimes as a shield. A great lesson I learned from my parents—or was it from Monty Python?—is to always look at the bright side of life. So, from an early age, I fell deeply in love with life, my family, my friends and, more recently, my wife and my two amazing daughters. They are, without a shadow of doubt, my best and most beautiful creations.
