I am Leonardo Teixeira, a student of Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), currently working as a Scientific Initiation Scholar in the Agricultural Engineering Department. My research focuses on optimizing energy efficiency and improving productivity in poultry farming through tailored lighting systems. I am also a member of the management team at the Agricultural Engineering Student Association, where I contribute to organizational planning and community engagement initiatives.Previously, I gained valuable experience in the insurance industry as an intern at Sombrero Seguros, working in the Claims and Finance departments. In the Claims sector, I managed routine agricultural claims, processed payments, and assisted in system updates for claim reserves. In Finance, I supported treasury routines, investment analysis, and budget execution, and participated in regulatory compliance activities.I am passionate about leveraging my engineering background and analytical skills to contribute to sustainable innovations in agriculture and beyond. I thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges.
