Reviewed the investigative packet, the member’s appeal, and, within the parameters of the collective bargaining agreement and General Orders, formulated the response to the appeals with an interpreted adjudication of the case at hand and recommended updated disciplinary action. Coordinated the adjudication process involving members subject to disciplinary action, DC Metropolitan Police Department in-house counsel, and DC Office of Employee Appeals to ensure departmental responses were delivered within timeframes required by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Approved/disapproved requests for the DC Paid Family Medical Leave and Federal Family Medical Leave Act. Coordinated the hiring/transition process for Senior Police Officer candidates (retiring/recently retired) through complete cycle to include application, references/referrals, and re-hire orientation. Prepared Human Resource Management Division responses to Freedom of Information Act requests for review, approval, and dissemination through the Metropolitan Police Department Freedom of Information Act unit.
