Represented the State of Florida Department of Revenue (hereinafter referred to as the State) in child support enforcement proceedings. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: (1) the litigation of cases for the purpose of establishing paternity, child support, and medical support orders; (2) the enforcement and modification of said orders; (3) keeping in continuous communication with the State to ensure that said orders were expeditiously and accurately processed; (4) representing the State on respondents' motions; (5) drafting and reviewing pleadings, stipulations, and court orders; researching federal, state, and local statutes, cases, and rules; and (6) writing memoranda of law articulating the State’s position on important legal issues; (7) communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel.
