I place great value in keeping my auctioneering skills at the leading edge of both commercial and residential real estate sales, and continually improve my strategies. My first ‘career calling’ was, in actual fact, as an accountant, but it was not long before my natural confidence and unwavering interest in sales led me to real estate. As a licensed agent, I gained a wealth of experience and great success within the industrial and commercial markets initially. And, it was conducting commercial auctions that cemented my path toward becoming a fully fledged auctioneer.As a professional auctioneer, and director of my own auctioneering firm, I’m now calling around 600 auctions a year. With this number of auctions, I get to experience many different situations. Each one an opportunity to perfect the art of understanding when to engage a buyer, how to read behavioural signals, and knowing how far to push buyers on auction day.“Sense, see and secure” is my motto. I take great pride in achieving the very best price for the property vendor. If there’s one more bid out there, to achieve that little bit extra, I’ll find it, because I know it can make a massive difference to my client.
