A staunch promoter of people and advocate for their greatness. As a first generation Black American, and proud Jamaican, I have had the privilege of standing in many cultures at once, always diving deeper through curiosity, story and personal connection. Educated as an aerospace engineer, I have navigated through various industries driven by the desire to solve unique and challenging problems. My most recent endeavor is taking up the mantle as President of Instrument. Here I keep a keen focus on delivering against our ambitious visions, building off the lessons of those who came before me and providing the space and resources for our people to grow professionally in service to our current and future partners.I am an engineer and product manager, an improvisor and story teller. I am creative and visionary and I own a true passion for people, connection, and leadership. My personality and experience, both professional and personal, have prepared me for my unique and ever branching pathAs my resume indicates, I have worked in numerous industries from aerospace to biomedical, electric vehicles to surface mining, before landing in the agency world. Each of these positions developed in me a breadth of skills and abilities, and exposed me to many different team structures and professional environments. As a founding member of the improv group Broke Gravy, and producer and co-founder of the Stumptown Improv festival, I have had the joy and pleasure of sharing the art or Improv and Storytelling around the globe as well as bringing the finest performers and friends here to Portland, curating captivating shows which have never been seen and will never be seen again.I am strategic, dedicated and creative.
