About Léonce Adilehou

Trained in marketing, the commercial function quickly got the upper hand in my career because making income and immediate result was a priority on the market understanding. I had the opportunity to work as a commercial in printing and then began a long and evolving course in the market of media from 2001. I had the chance to cross all the levels of the sales function in 7 years from commercial assistant to senior manager within the sales department. Thanks to twelve years in sales of advertising solutions on audiovisual media including 5 at the head of my department, I managed to capitalize 3 essential things:- a strong relationship in the field of audiovisual media in Benin and on the continent- a good knowledge of the particular economic model and value chain of this industry on the continent.- importance of content in the emergence of any traditional or digital mediaToday, very focused on the world of mobile and Internet, I consider these 2 media to be added to television for the promotion and monetization of local content on the continent in the coming years.My ambition is to provide global expertise in content provision, technical solutions and marketing opportunities on these 3 media in Africa.

    Dans le cadre du projet « Power out of Poverty Partnership » piloté par la SNV Bénin de 2013 à 2015, j'ai eu la charge de l'élaboration de la stratégie de communication, du plan de communication et du suivi de la mise en oeuvre de ladite stratégie par une agence de communication locale dont j'ai assuré la coordination de l'activité.Ce projet avait pour but l'adoption massive des kits solaires par les populations des localités cibles du projet pour promouvoir l’accès des populations à l’énergie solaire en particulier dans les zones non couvertes par le réseau électrique conventionnel. Le mécanisme de mise en œuvre intègre la participation de micro-entrepreneurs villageois (VME), sélectionnés parmi les distributeurs locaux de produits de l’opérateur de téléphonie mobile MTN Bénin afin d’apporter au projet, l’expérience et les acquis importants du secteur des télécommunications mobiles considéré comme le secteur ayant connu la plus forte croissance en Afrique ces dix dernières années. Ces micro entrepreneurs assureront ainsi la distribution des kits et services solaires (lampes solaires, rechargement de batteries de portables) aux côtés des produits et services MTN, grâce aux charrettes solaires mises à leur disposition à frais partagés dans le cadre du projet.Outre l’adoption massive de ces kits solaires par les populations ciblées, le projet vise également la promotion de l’entreprenariat local dans les zones ciblées, l’éclosion d’un nouveau modèle économique destiné à renforcer l’intervention des compagnies spécialisées dans l’énergie solaire au Bénin. Il permettra aussi à près de 72% de la population béninoise, de réduire leur dépendance aux combustibles et aux piles qui représentent aujourd’hui leurs principales solutions pour l’éclairage et l’alimentation de petits équipements domestiques et absorbent l’équivalent de 20% de leurs revenus.
