As a sales associate in a retail store that has a wide demographic of consumers, I learned how to successfully advertise to customers who have different styles and needs. One of my greatest accomplishments while working was being awarded as Top Sales Associate at our store location multiple times. Since I worked during the pandemic, I proved my dedication to my profession when I had to cover for managers and associate managers. Taking on more demanding roles was a great opportunity for me to get a taste of being a leader in the workplace. Another accomplishment of mine was when I almost beat my store’s record all-time high of weekly sales, with my number being $32,802, compared to the top number of sales, which was about $38,000. The next top sale behind mine was only $16,816. Furthermore, I won the challenge for District Top Sale Associate, beating the heavily crowded Champs location at the Galleria location and the biggest Champs in the area located inside Town East Mall.
