Supporting a wide range of writing and distribution requirements across Direct Mail (print), email, web and broadcasting, helping to co-ordinate consistent messaging across all UCB platforms for both ongoing Fundraising campaigns and specific appeals, including Legacy Fundraising.Artwork co-ordination, distribution, monitoring and evaluation are also key parts of the role.

Although my job title is that of Clerical Assistant, my job is very much a continuation of my five-week placement at Careers and Employability as a Publicity and Marketing Assistant. I am involved with the creation of various promotional materials including: posters, banners, presentational PowerPoints etc. I am also fortunate to be involved with the Graduate Futures Team during a transitional period in which I am able to help streamline and document current procedures. The Graduate Futures Team is principally in charge of schemes such as The Chester Difference Award, Santander Internship Programme and the Graduate Head Start programme. In each I have played a key role in reviewing publicity and marketing strategies and have helped to identify strategies going forward. Additionally, my strengths in writing have been utilised for various articles and departmental literature. Currently I am looking to finalise several large projects: Student Guide to Careers and Employability, Employer Engagement Pack and Student Guide to Employer Engagement.
