I am a sharp, adaptable, innovative, quick-witted and 'out-of-the-box' thinker, with strong self confidence and a clear-cut idea of who I am and what I want in my career and personal life. When confronted by obstacles, I am analytical and determined: enjoying trouble-shooting problems to obtain a positive and creative solution, for the benefit of all.As such, I have since a young age been keenly interested in technology and in people - and been unafraid to push the boundaries with both, in order to find out what I need to know or achieve a requisite business or personal goal. This self-confidence is however counter-balanced by an equally strong sense of humility, never forgetting my own farming family background or the value of strong interpersonal relationships and hard work. I am also a very 'hands-on' personality type who relishes having 'skin in the game' and remaining at the cutting-edge of technology trends and business developments - as opposed to rusting away behind a title and a desk ! With some 26 years 'experience spanning diverse technical and management roles - both in an entrepreneurial and corporate context - I also possess tried and tested leadership capabilities, emotional intelligence and a bullet-proof sense of humour! I furthermore enjoy the challenge of change. Although many make this claim, I do not do so idly, having in the course of my career demonstrably capitalised on every major technology change since the inception of the Internet and Internet Service Provider (ISP)technology, all the way through to social media for business, telecommunications / IT convergence and the Blockchain. In so doing, I have harnessed my characteristic passion for challenge and change in order to successfully drive change management initiatives throughout my career, and have also lived and managed teams both locally and in sub-Saharan Africa.

In order to ensure iBurst Africa traded effectively, the following was achieved:- Oversaw the management of network roll-outs in each country. The Ghana network has achieved targeted uptime since launch. - Designed and created a pre-paid billing system (the iBurst Management System), which integrates into the Accounting System, Pastel Evolution, and into IAS (Radius), the access controller. This provides a web front-end to all staff, allowing staff to invoice and sell modems from their laptops wherever they might be. Once the modem is invoiced and paid for, it is immediately activated.- Selected the local technical teams that run the day to day operations of the networks. - Architected the reseller programs namely the Super dealer and reseller channels to allow for broad distribution of modems, connect & go! vouchers, and virtual vouchers to the market.- Within the first year of running, met the objective of signing up 5000 new customers in Ghana.- Managed the product development process resulting in the launch of several new product lines into the existing business model.- Managed the rollout of world first 2Mbps modem into all the networks. - Managed the implementation of online sales, network and customer service tracking tools.
