I’m a specialist in the fields of flow near hydraulic structures, river morphology and salt intrusion. I have participated as a specialist advisor in a large number of river, infrastructure and coastal projects for both public and private clients. I have extensive experience with the hydraulic design, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and measuring of hydraulic structures, especially: ► discharge sluices / sluice gates / scouring sluices► approach harbours to a lock► filling and emptying systems of navigation locks► outflow structures► pumping stations► discharge regulating structuresIn the field of river engineering, I contributed to multiple Room for the River projects, the construction of the Maasdelta Tunnel (Blankenburg connection), a sediment nourishment pilot project, sediment management in Integrated River Management (IRM) program, dike reinforcements, KRW projects, the technical feasilibility of the Itaipu bypass and the development of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.
