As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, I contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services to patients and healthcare providers. I have over 10 years of experience in various areas of the laboratory, including specimen collection and processing, biochemistry, microbiology, transfusion medicine and point-of-care testing. I am certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists, and I hold a valid license from the California Department of Public Health.I am passionate about improving the quality and efficiency of laboratory operations and processes, as well as enhancing the patient experience and outcomes. That is why I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I am learning the skills and knowledge to lead and innovate in the healthcare industry. I have also completed a Quality Management Certification from the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and the ASCP's Leadership Institute Certification, which have equipped me with the tools and frameworks to implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and strategies.
