-Monitoring long lead time raw material Metal/Resin reduce LT and incoterm program.-Execute the activities on material planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within to ensure correct supply levels for operation. -Monitor and ensure materials supply meet the MRP requirements to support production. Identify and support resolve disconnects such as shortages, non-conformance, high stock, excess / obsolete materials are continuously monitored and resolved.-Coordinates with planner to maintain materials plans, which synchronize the plant’s global material flow.-Prepare purchasing, reports for management analysis.-Analyzes Proposals from Suppliers, Analyzes Prices and formulates Purchase (P.O.’s)-Evaluates suppliers, and develops initial contacts with new suppliers according to the requirements. Request samples for testing, sampling incoming materials, vendor rating programs, vendor certification.-Maintains standard operating procedures in the purchasing function according to ISO requirements.-Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders.-Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.-Analyze supply and demand requirements to recommend and take action on material to expedite, push out, cancel or place PO’s as required-Review with Manager monthly KPI achievements, goal and improvements for all buyers.-Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.-Coach and mentor Materials staff to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
