Serve as the primary quality resource for compliance and effectiveness throughout the plant and ensures adherence to all Mondelez Quality programs such as GMP’s, HACCP, Net Contents Internal Audits, Traceability & Recall, Hold & Release and Pathogen Monitoring. Provide leadership and technical assistance to help resolve quality related problems. Manage all activities and projects of 7 quality laboratory technicians.Review and set up new specifications and procedures used by manufacturing. Ensure materials conform to their specifications and deal with issues arising from non-conforming materials including hold and release of in process or finished goods. Report deviations and inadequacies to the appropriate Manager. Monitor calibration performance of all laboratory and plant equipment such as moisture units, colorimeters, laser stack-o-meters, scales, water baths, thermometers, ph meters, x rays etc.Audit quality systems & manufacturing practices and ensures that finished goods are produced according to the specifications and that all documentation requirements are consistently adhered to meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Conduct investigations to determine root cause and recommends & implements corrective, preventive or improvement actions associated with food safety and quality. Monitor consumer complaints driving reductions in total complaints and ensuring plans are developed to focus on key dissatisfied reduction. Investigate consumer complaints & drives root cause to resolution. Provide technical support to Conversion, Business Development and Continuous Improvement teams in the trouble shooting of production and/or packaging programs. Responsible for managing about 30 employees in 3 different manufacturing departments (dough production, retail fillo manual assembly and packaging).Prepare production reports and efficiency percentages on the production lines. Production planning for internal production of fillo consumption and retail purposes. Inspect retail fillo dough packing presentation and accuracy with date codes and expiration dates. Ensure that quality, safety and efficiency goals are met and GMPs are followed at all times. Responsible for inventory control, data entry (M2M and Shop Floor Management Systems) and labor scheduling/payroll. Supervise and document CCP validations such as proper refrigeration, meta/x-ray detection procedures as a crucial part of food production.Prepare our facility and staff for the annual BRC inspection Communicate with other supervisors for production needs and solve discrepancies. Oversee QA logs and inspect pre/post operations properly completed.Responsible for closing the facility on a daily basis.Coach and train colleagues.
