Following my promotion from the role of Financial Education Officer I became responsible for a team of 5 Financial Education Officers. I am responsible for leading, engaging and managing a team of field sales executives across the North of England to drive the delivery of key performance indicators for a national savings, investments and insurance provider •Working closely with the brand team to ensure we represent the company’s high level of service and regulatory compliance at all interactions with customers•Carrying out regular observations, providing constructive feedback and identifying and delivering any training or coaching needs, ensuring that team are meeting targets and KPI’s•Working alone or alongside relevant stakeholders to organise and deliver team communications, meetings and training sessions•Collating and analysing regular MI and data, and researching and creating additional reports on request•Working to budgets, creating processes and procedures to maximise profitability and efficiency

My duties include delivering financial education programmes to teachers in schools, colleges and universities, including offering information on Pensions and investment options such as ISA’s, Unit Trust’s and Investment Bonds. I am responsible for raising awareness of Teachers Assurance products that will assist teachers in securing their financial future. I am responsible for securing sales of these products via face to face, on line or telephone routes ensuring that targets and KPI’s were achieved. I deliver a range of presentations to varying sizes of audience and identify and secure business opportunities by networking and building relationships with stakeholders such as the NUT, Local Authorities and the teaching community. I am constantly raising brand awareness and developing the company’s marketing strategy. This role involves extensive travel throughout the UK.

My duties included delivering training to employees. I was also responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of all the training material.

Working in a Category A prison my duties included routine day to day security checks, supervising prisoners and visitors, dealing with prisoners problems and delivering, design and evaluation of courses such as “Offending Behaviour” and “Job Skills” I was also part of a small training team that received Matrix Accreditation in 2004 and won the National Training Award in the same year. I also liased with several outside agencies such as the Probation Service, Northumbria Police and Courts to assist in the rehabilitation of offenders.
