I am Anthony Leong, second-year mechanical engineering student from Singapore Polytechnic currently studying a diploma in Mechanical engineering and specialising in Automation and Robotics.I am deeply passionate about all things engineering. Engineering seamlessly blends these subjects, prompting me to pursue a diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic after my O-levels. Through my studies, I have acquired proficiency in various engineering software, including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Mastercam, as well as a solid foundation in C++. I have also found that thermodynamic systems are very interesting to learn about and explore further.Recognizing that no engineer can complete a project alone, I have honed my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through group projects and extracurricular activities. However, I also excel in independent work, often taking the initiative to drive projects forward and solve complex problems on my own. As a member of SP's Outstanding Talent Programme, I have been recognized for my academic proficiency and have had exclusive opportunities to stimulate my personal growth as a leader and humanitarian.Beyond academics, I thrive in collaborative environments where we can learn and grow together.
