My voters come mainly from the LGBTQIA+ community, as I am primarily committed to diversity and inclusion.

In the municipality of Krimpen aan den IJssel I was elected as an Assistant Counsil Member in March 2018. I represented the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD), a liberal political party in the Netherlands. In this role I have worked to make LGBTQIA+, diversity and inclusion a topic for discussion in this municipality. I wrote, among other things, the election program and the rainbow agreement.

It was an easy and fun way to earn money while actively applying for a serious job.
