In this position, I worked as a student recruiter and tour guide to prospective students interested in engineering. I showed them the engineering facilities and provided information about the engineering programs and resources here at OU. I also helped with preparation for K-12 outreach programs such as GLAMS, High School Open House, and Engineering Days summer camps, therefore have experience working with large groups and with people of all ages and backgrounds.

I was an active member of OU Cousins since fall of my freshman year. OU Cousins matches international students on campus with American students. As Student Director, I helped our Director of Student Life oversee the program, match students, and coordinate the students on the Advisory Board as we plan and facilitate events.

I was the VP of Finance for Alpha Sigma Kappa – Women in Technical Studies, a technical sorority on campus, and was responsible for the finances, including the budget, reimbursements, and any necessary payments. I have been an active member of ASK since spring 2017 and have served in several other roles including candidate educator and retreat chair. As retreat chair, I was responsible for planning the overnight retreat for about 65 members and coordinating the events and details of the event.

After graduating high school, I spent a year doing a voluntary social year (FSJ) in Germany where I worked at a German/English kindergarten in Potsdam, Germany. Along with the teacher in my group, I actively worked and played with the kids and helped create crafts and activities for the children to help develop their language and social skills.
