About Leonid Kleimann
My IT journey began in 1987, when I first stepped into a computer room housing a massive mainframe. While studying mathematics, I simultaneously learned programming languages like Algol and Basic. By my second year at university, I was already working as a programmer in the Department of Computational Mathematics.After university, I spent 13 years teaching mathematics in a school, followed by running my own IT company. This experience became a key stepping stone, leading me to top management roles in large system integration firms and later to Microsoft Russia, where I managed strategic projects.With a second degree in Technology Management and an MBA focused on marketing, I returned to my roots in 2018 — back to IT and teaching.Writing code, exploring new technologies, and building information systems are what inspire me the most. Over the past few years, I have been deeply engaged in teaching Java to adult students. This experience has been so captivating that I cannot imagine my life without it now.
