Hired by the CEO to oversee the IT function during the company’s acquisition; played a major role in re-engineering IT and Business Systems functions. Reported to the CEO whilst supervising 3 direct reports, including a Systems Engineer, Helpdesk and ERP support. Led Project teams of up to 25 members. Led the rollout of a new ERP system and played a major role in the European SAP implementation; matched procedures to different countries and established unified language / processes. Championed the country’s first European Monetary Union (EMU) project; contributed to meetings throughout Europe and transferred group policy / strategy to local functions. Seconded to the Horsham office to develop and manage a system to support field sales and marketing activities; organised MIS and P&L based on Activity Base Costing.
