After go out ABAEnglish due a corporative operation I decided to come back to my personal projects in Software&Ideas, more focused in Consultancy. Some projects:- CTO in Caterina House from 1 year ago (current position)- CTO in Elims for 2 years. Launching new company based in dental treatments- CTO in Cooltra for 1 year and 4 months- Project Management Consultancy for Privalia Travel- Customization and installation of several CRMs using vTiger- BI Development for Xerox- Several developments for Womenalia, TMB, Unique, Sabbatik, Tiendanimal, WanupThe idea of Software&Ideas is to be able to create an incubator for projects where technology is key and a differential factor, and to finance all this with the provision of services, if possible, leading technology. There are currently two completed projects:- Clipterest.com: aggregator of the fashion world, where the search engine theme has been worked on (Elastic) and artificial vision of images is being implemented (Google Vision). The idea is to help people find what they are looking for very quickly in a sector where every day there are thousands of new references. Developed in Laravel with MongoDB and Elastic.- sailandtrack.com: tracking system for sailing dinghies, where all the activity of a ship is recorded and then can be analyzed. Here the idea has been to implement IP68 mobile phones as hardware and develop an APP that using the reading of the sensors (GPS, Accelerometer and Gyroscope) generates all the information. I have also worked on the whole topic of the socket server for receiving information, as well as the mapping server (OpenStreetMap own server) and the backoffice where trainers and sailors connect. The characteristic of this project is that EVERYTHING is its own development: APP (Android Studio), Sockets (node.js), TileServer (openstreetmap), backoffice (node.js), API (Lumen) and everything supported with MySQL and MongoDB.

Along with other partners, I am involved in the launch of ABAEnglish.com. A project in which, starting from a completely offline editorial English course, we transformed it into an online platform with the aim of internationalizing it and developing it as a product. We created the entire project; I was in charge of all the technical aspects and moved all the content to the online world. Additionally, we prepared it for B2B by converting the course to the SCORM standard and implementing various LMS.

I was in charge of managing the maintenance and development of the airline's internal applications. I joined in the early years of the company.

After the closure of GE Power Controls, I decided to try starting my own Software Factory project. I work on development projects and mainly attempt to position myself in the R&D area, which has always been my favorite. Some developments include:- PDA application for secure environments. This application had to operate in pharmaceutical laboratories with strict security standards.- Version of capraboacasa.com for PDAs. Proof of concept to enable shopping from a PDA.- Prediction of hydrocarbon spills in the Bay of Pasaia. Project for the EU and developed in collaboration with the UPC. You were able to see and measure the prediction on a bay's map.- Digitization of a hotel group with three hotels.- Creation of a channel manager for the hotel sector.

Due to the close of the company I joined GE Power Controls at the e-Business Department as Web Development leader and working with IBM WebSphere as application server. I was managing the internal developments from Commercial. The development team was in India. I was the interface between the Commercial area and the development team. I was the project manager, and I did not manage any budget. All were internal customers.

I joined Virtual-Affairs as IT responsible. I was the responsible for the IT area. Unfortunately, I was forced to leaving the company due to the crisis of the entire sector. The company closed at October 2001.

I joined Lostboys Interactive Spain to help with the design and implementation of the IT department. Simultaneously I work as a Technical Project Leader in a very big e-commerce project. I am using Bea Weblogic as Application Server and Oracle as Database Server. I developed an engine that could interpret the site parameters in a XML file. The project was www.capraboacasa.com. I managed the development team. At the same time I designed the technical solution for the project using J2EE and XML.

Our company was bought by Fihoca Group. I joined the I+D department of the new company as programmer, later becoming an analyst. During this period I could investigate on different aspects of technology. I made in depth work with author software for multimedia objectives (Macromedia Director, Macromedia Authorware), new business alternatives (Internet, Intranets) and different languages (Visual Basic 5.0, Visual C, Java). I worked with SAP and Internet using ITS and Java. I developed Xnet applications with client/server Java environments client/Server, using Servlets, JSP and EJB. At Fihoca, I worked with Websphere as application server. I also developed WAP applications with Java technology using Nokia Wap Server, Nokia Toolkit.

After finishing my previous job I founded a company with a friend of mine in order to develop Multimedia and CD-ROMS, moved by our interest in multimedia. We aimed to develop CD ROMS and interactive applications placing emphasis on the importance of the user interface and the client's message to a target. We trusted this new advertising channel.

External consultant at Quesería Gubianas S.A. This company made an important invested on a system that did not match its needs. They had to suspend payments. I had to find a solution that represented no additional costs for the company, implementing procedures to run the company with the two systems (Pick and Unix). I made an interface between these systems, using the management system of the old one and the accounting system ot the new one. It allowed me to understand the structure and functioning of a company's accounting and management processes.

Analist / Programmer at Cetemar S.L. During this period we developed a GPS control system. With this system they could have a control center where monitoring each ship of a fleet all around the world. We developed it using Windows API in C language, using DDE, interactive help, etc.

Ofimatica teacher at Escuela de Sistemas Informáticos. For a while I combined my work at Habitat with my teaching activities.

Operator at Habitat (Avda. Diagonal 514). I made the system backups, generated the listings needed for daily management, helped the ofimatica users and was in charge of the database maintainance.
