AdECN is a real-time exchange for buying and selling online display advertising. At AdECN I was responsible for the functionality enabling ad networks to use their own proprietary technology, such as behavioral and demographic targeting, as well as for the data marketplace infrastructure:• Advocated vision and strategy and wrote PRDs for AdECN Data Marketplace• Initiated and prioritized API functionalities allowing 3rd parties to make their data and services available in real time for enrichment of ad requests in a plug-and-play fashion• Collected and defined requirements and wrote PRDs based on business needs, interviewing partners, prospect customers and market analysts• Developed requirements, specifications and managed releases for cookie mapping module leading to a XX% revenue increase in the live pilot

Program manager on the MSN Money portal team.• Led a multi-disciplinary team (dev, test, PM and design) through 3 full release cycles.• Formulated the general strategy and vision for MSN Money Portfolio Manager and communicated it effectively to senior management; led the team of 10 people (3 developers, 4 testers, 2 PMs, and a designer) towards an on-schedule release of an AJAX-based Portfolio Manager under agile development process (scrum); released the product for US and 9 international markets.• Performed analytical and statistical analysis of both MSN Money usage statistics and competitive data and feature sets. • Managed partner relations with MSN Money web service consumers. Promoted MSN Money’s services and ensured partner satisfaction.• Started the Live Search Contest initiative at Microsoft, secured approval of senior management, built a team (2 PMs and 3 developers) and delivered a working internal Beta product.

Co-founded technology startup. WebServius provides a solution for managing and monetizing web APIs and helps data and service providers to sell valuable data and services in new ways, allowing them to reach more customers and increase revenue.

• Founded a software company that solves data management problems by automatically capturing, cataloguing, and organizing data regardless of its origin and format; enterprise search and intranet document management enhancements.• Engaged the first two corporate customers and delivered product to their specs and satisfaction.• Assembled a technical team of top notch engineers and led them through two software development cycles providing leadership, motivation, and strategic technology vision. • Interviewed customers, defined customers’ pain points, and formulated product vision.• Developed technical specs and supervised product development, testing, and launch.

• Co-founded a software start-up company. Conducted market research and wrote the initial version of the business plan and performed other operational tasks in a dynamic start-up environment.• Worked on the product definition, specification, and development of a Web content clipping system• Overcame serious technical challenges in designing and delivering a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allowed users to select and capture a portion of any web page.

• Accomplished two research projects for the start-up founded by Professor William F. Sharpe (1990 Economics Nobel Prize recipient) that offers online services for mutual fund investors.• Analyzed historical mutual fund performance using style analysis and studied the dependence of performance on expense ratio, turnover, and other factors. Designed and implemented novel statistical methodology for measuring style drift over fund's lifetime.

• Developed a Monte Carlo model for default risk analysis and pricing of mortgage-backed securities, implemented in C++ and integrated with the enterprise-wide pricing system.
