The Feminist Men Project runs workshops on gender equality in the workplace, enabling men to become more proactive allies in the feminist movement.

I proofread PhD and Master's theses for language and content, providing prompt, thorough and excellent feedback. I review academic work from all disciplines, with an academic specialism in the humanities.

I was recently hired to compile a literature review for an independent project on feminism and fatherhood, looking at the impact of daughters on men's beliefs in gender equality. This exciting project also incorporated data from workshops with daughters and dads around the U.K. which I helped organise and facilitate.

I have completed an MSc in Gender at the world-renowned LSE Gender Institute, gaining a Distinction overall. The Women's Budget Group evaluates the U.K. government budget and economic policies from a gender equality perspective, providing political analysis, research and reports on themes including housing, pensions, tax, healthcare, and parental leave. I assisted the two Directors on events, comms, reports, briefings and the internal running of the organisation. I co-wrote a chapter of their Intersecting Inequalities report which evaluated the impact of austerity on Black and Minority Ethnic women in the U.K.

GAPS is a civil society network of development, human rights, humanitarian and peacebuilding NGOs which promotes, facilitates and monitors the meaningful inclusion of gender in all aspects of UK policy and practice on peace and security. I coordinated the network, and supported all aspects of the Director's campaigns and policy work, including writing and proofing communications such as letters, policy papers and reports for key decision-makers and partners, including for example the FCO and DFID. I promoted the No Women, No Peace Campaign by writing regular blogs and creating daily content for social media, and distributing press releases at critical points, for example during their NATO summit media stunt to promote women's participation in peace-building processes.

I undertook parliamentary monitoring and assisted the Policy Manager with research, meetings, and events relevant to the policy priorities of Women for Women International and the Women, Peace and Security agenda. This included work on government consultations, policy conferences and parliamentary briefings.

Congo Connect is a network of individuals with an interest in working towards a brighter future for the Democratic Republic of Congo. I designed, produced and led our campaign exhibition and event at the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict hosted by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office where I introduced Dr. Denis Mukwege.

Woman's Trust provides one-to-one counselling, support groups and workshops to women affected by domestic violence in London. I wrote applications to trusts and foundations to raise funds, and wrote monitoring reports on their projects for donors. I undertook research into deprivation and women's services across London boroughs and managed their social media platform.

At Bede House I supported an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate with frontline work, risk assessments, casenotes, liasing with agencies, GPs, lawyers and the police etc. I also helped with practical roles such as accompanying women to court.

I helped organise large-scale high-profile dinners, auctions, parties and exhibition previews at the Royal Academy. I assisted with invitations, guestlists, catalogues, seating plans, and worked on the door at events.

I assisted a filmmaker on location in Rwanda making a film about conflict, genocide and food insecurity by recording the sound and assisting with the interviews.

I researched, designed and produced major donor materials. I compiled prospect research, created a report on their South Sudan project, wrote personal reports for major donors, and made design specifications for online communications. I organised a fundraising raffle for a trek to Everest base camp and did follow-up publicity and stewardship.

I edited articles on the website and contributed content to their country profiles. I also researched and wrote three articles about gender issues in Africa including ones on domestic violence in Nigeria and the widespread lack of sanitation for schoolgirls.

I researched Save the Children's projects in the field with partner NGOs and wrote two 6,000-word evaluation reports. I wrote one on the exploitation of child labour in the beedi rolling industry, and one on child protection issues for street children in Kolkata.

I organised freshers' week for over 200 new undergraduates, developing and organising a week of original events and entertainment, and looking out for the wellbeing of new students.
