Hello, my name is Leon Wang, and I am a recent high school graduate from Lauremont School in Richmond Hill, Ontario, graduating as an Ontario Scholar with the OSSD and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I am pursuing the University of Toronto (Scarborough) for Management in International Business (BBA) Co-op program.Throughout my time in high school, I developed a great interest in the world of business. I learned essential skills through the DECA program, which I eventually became Club Executive of in my senior year, passing the baton off to younger members in the club. During my Grade 10 year in Malvern College, I participated in the ASDAN Business Simulation, leading a team of 7 members to winning the overall competition. As Team Captain, I gained leadership skills and learned to effectively manage a team, earning us two notable awards — the Product Prototype Award, and the Marketing Award. I am looking forward to formally develop my business prowess through the BBA program at UTSC.Recently, I started a car detailing business, diving into the world of entrepreneurship with passion. Henceforth, I’m looking to combine my interest in automobiles and business with a car sales job. Apart from business, I am also an avid lover of sports. My high school sports career was decorated with a number of achievements, for instance the SR Boys DIII Volleyball Champion and the SR Boys DIII Basketball Silver Medalist. I also ran the badminton club in my school, honourably claiming the role of Club Leader.
