I was born in Germany and grew up in my adopted hometown of Albuquerque NM, so I'm multilingual and a fan of both soccer and green chili. During school in Portland I started focusing on a career in programming. After graduation, I found a position that offers me the opportunity to use my problem solving skills, working with tech veterans who share their real world experience, allowing me to work on something different almost every day, from programming to soldering circuits.A proven problem solver, I excel at using logical and organized methodology to solve complex problems, and have started developing a skill set that will help me reach my professional goals:1. I enjoy using machine learning techniques to tackle complex problems such as image recognition and computer security.2. I have programming experience in C, Python, Java and can quickly adapt to any programming language. 4. My work experience includes five summer internships working in a clinical lab setting at Tufts University conducting research into autoimmune deficiency, and a year long departmental project at Lewis & Clark College using machine learning for climate research.5. I speak 3 different languages: English, German and Spanish.
