Part of the leadership team at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, UK, I manage the group responsible for the UK’s timescale, UTC(NPL), the development of the next generation of optical atomic clocks (strontium ion, ytterbium ion and strontium lattice) and NPL-CsF2, the world’s most accurate caesium fountain. I excel at identifying commercial opportunities, developing collaborations, driving technical innovation and delivering game changing solutions. My drive is to help my team of 25 strive for and achieve scientific excellence whilst we deliver significant commercial impact and align our roadmap and strategy for future growth.
