Performed four different job functions: Sensitivity Analysis, Data Analysis and Forecasting (Deposits and Consolidation) for a 1.8 trillion Balance Sheet. Extended the forecast from 3 years to 7 years during the period that I forecasted Deposits.- NII Sensitivity: Detailed understanding of the Balance Sheet data - including repricing characteristics, sensitivities, maturity profiles, and growth/attrition levels. Detailed knowledge of the different instruments in the Balance Sheet and their modeling characteristics. Understanding of the behavior of the Balance Sheet under different rate scenarios and assumption changes. Provide executive reporting to highlight changes in balance sheet.- Forecast Deposits: Allow for the ability to capture a forward-looking view of the balance sheet and its sensitivities. Maintain the assumptions in the model in line with the business new Strategies/Products while reflecting own view.- Forecast Consolidation: Coordinate the close of the forecast process (during month end and the beginning of the month) and report on the consolidated variance to forecast for the month. Ensure the actual information is accurately updated on a timely basis in the reporting application after the close of the books as well as throughout the month. Manage the process of compiling the monthly and quarterly information delivered directly to the CFO and other executives within the CFO group as well as to other key business partners within the organization. Compile the monthly forecast report highlighting the major themes during the corresponding month. Work closely with Enterprise Credit Risk and CR Analytics on a common effort to present the risks to NII and Credit under different economic scenarios. Evaluate the accuracy of the forecast in different points in time (quarterly and yearly) through a back testing process. Compare the forecast results to the Hoshin metrics analyzing the major drivers of the outcome.
