• Maintenance of pressure reduction assets/facilities using in-house technicians
• Civil Maintenance of underground gas piping using subcontractor field force
• 24/7 field emergency response services including make safe and permanent repairs
• Leading and directing (on rotation) large scale gas emergencies including the implementation of the response strategy, make safe and permanent repair
• Metering services including installation of new meters and aged meter replacement, using in-house and subcontractor field force

• This positon is responsible for managing risk and providing strategic leadership ensuring the safe operation s of the scheduling, store operations, network intergrity and general support to the Maintenance Delivery.

• The position is accountable for several significant business improvement projects to ensure the appropriate level of governance, deliverables are met and that the projects are delivered on time, within scope and on.
• Developing and implementing an outsourcing solution for meter service provision.
• Procure and develop a site in the Hunter region to replace the old site at Cardiff for $4.2M.
• Procure and establish a $5.4M Meter Testing and Refurbishment Facility in Sydney, NSW to provide Jemena Gas Networks the capability to proactively monitor the quality and performance of metering products.
• Develop the business requirements, scope and procurement of meter test equipment and to project manage the installation and commissioning of the meter testing equipment at the newly established Meter Centre.
• Implementation of SAP PM and other modules to replace aging legacy works management systems

The role is responsible for managing internal and external customer needs through the provision of a single customer interface for the Gas Customer business. this includes emergency response, control rooms, new connections, and general enquiries relating to repairs and maintenance along with scheduling and dispatching work to field crews.

The role is responsible for the consolidation of a number of facilities and the closure of 5 sites across Sydney to a new facility at Sydney Olympic Park.
