I am a graduate student at Florida International University in the English MA program. During my time as an undergraduate student at FIU, I focused my studies in English Literature, and also received a Minor in History and a Certificate in Public and Professional Writing. My focus at this point is to further my studies in a graduate program focusing on English or Comparative Literature. My chosen field of study is medieval literature and studies, as well as medievalism. I am particularly interested in the ways that medieval studies intersects with gender and race.My current job is as a Graduate Assistant at FIU, primarily as a teaching assistant to professors in the Writing and Rhetoric program.
