Acting in the drafting and prosecuting of patents before the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI), patentability analysis, technology transfer, freedom to operate analysis, legal opinions, oppositions, appeal proceedings and general consultancy services in intellectual property. I specialize in chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, immunology, medical devices, diagnostics as well as pharmaceutical products. I am also actively involved in biodiversity matters and access to the Brazilian genetic patrimony, including acting on behalf of clients before the Genetic Patrimony Management Council (CGEN).
