También es especialista en litigación oral (National Institute for Trial Advocacy, USA), en arbitraje comercial internacional (American University, Washington DC) y en democracia constitucional (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona). Especialista en derecho de la construcción (Downing College, Cambridge, UK).Es máster en sociología legal por el IISL de Oñati, País Vasco. Es profesor PUCP desde 1991. Enseña argumentación jurídica, litigación oral, debido proceso. Desde el 2020 enseña en la Universidad de Lima, además de las materias anotadas, da un curso en Arbitrajes Especiales.
